    Question PT-300: Planer Thicknesser Combo

    Anyone have experience with the PT-300 from Machineryhouse and Jacks?

    - Suggestions for other similar options?
    - Wheeled base recommendations?
    - Dust extraction efficiency?
    - Usefulness of mortise attachment?

    How did you go on your research of the PT-300
    looking at one for myself and have all the same questions.

    Default Not much progress

    Didn't get any feedback and in the end decided to sort my dust extraction setup out first before getting too carried away with a planer-thicknesser.

    Also, the PT-300 was on the heavy side and I'll probably go with the Scheppach although I'm still looking for reasonable alternatives.
    Annular Grooved Nails....Ribbed for the Woods Pleasure?
