I'm pretty sure that's the CTS Shelix cutters. Steve (sje) will confirm for you. Great product, good price and fantastic service. Plenty of members here can attest to this.

I found sje is the best option if he is still around hasn't been on the forum for quite a while his cutters are more than reasonable in price and he is helpful if you have any questions.

I'd agree, SJE is great for after-market option for many cutterheads, I got a new set for the CT330X quickly and easily

    +1 for SJE

IMO they are actually better than the genuine SHELIX inserts from Byrd

    Get 100, you'll want some spares and I think there's a discount for 100s (it's a full carton)

EDIT: Also, to prolong their life, only rotate every second row (if it's a big machine with many rows); you'll get 90% of the finish quality of a full rotation and effectively double the time between replacement.

As I can ascertain, the inserts sold by SJE are the same as others sold by other vendors. However he prices them MUCH lower. I went to complete an extra set for my Hammer A3-31, and they were not in stock. Unsure when they would return, I looked around the web and came across another seller on eBay based in the UK. They had the same dimensions, so I put in an order. Sure enough, they came in the same box as SJE, with the same sizing, and looked identical. I believe they are identical. However they were at least 60% more than those from SJE. As Murphy would have it, SJE emailed me to let me know he had more in stock a day or two after I had placed my order ...

    Regards from Perth

I have had my Hammer A3-31 for about 5 years now, and am still on the second face of the original inserts. At this rate I shall be replacing them in about 10 years.

Is this business located overseas? What do they mean products by Amazon?

Yes, I can see the merit in both those suggestions.
