Ryobi 254 Radial arm saw
Despite the somewhat negative feedback I received earlier, I bought this saw anyway. Couple reasons; mainly cost and space and I also dont plan at this stage, to do any real precise work. Right now I plan on building a bed, desk, storage setup for my daughter and if I am careful with setups this saw should hopefully do the trick OK. Being a bit obsessive compulsive; If this project takes off like some of my other hobbies have, I will probably end up taking a second mortgage to pay for it!
I have taken the motor apart, replaced the bearings, checked brushes, armiture etc.; cleaned it and replaced the upper and power cords they were both cut and she is running pretty good and quiet for an old saw. Anyway; I am probably kidding myself asking, especially AFTER already buying it; does anyone know if collets for the router (it only came with one) and other parts like the belt are still available? Also; where I might start looking to find them?
Cheers
Thanks
