Scheppach 260 thicknesser, blade setting
After finding a PDF of the manual, I attempted to set the blades this morning.
I bought the mc second hand, no "adjusting gauge" provided.
It appears to be a straight edge, wood?
Once I realised the adjusting screw operated on the adjacent blade it all fell into place.
Using a wood straight edge, I set the height to the outfeed table level at the top of the blade arc.
1. Its far better than it was.
2. Is this what is being asked by the manual (my PDF manual is not very clear)?
"The mark on the left of the gauge lies at the end of the bench surface " I'm guessing
this is to site the end of the gauge at the max reach of the blade?
