    Default SCHEPPACH hms 2600ci PLANER/THICKNESSER

    Gday folks..

anybody own one or could advise as to if they are good or have problems..i see they have rather small table length (1040 mm) ..most of my timber is less than 500mm long but have some jarrah/sheoak 1 metre to 1500mm long. so my other question is the bed length long enough for timber 1500mm long
they are on special at $1395 @ Hare & Forbes ,3hp motor

I would not worry about the bed length. You will be fine.

The new prices at H&F are a lot more reasonable then they were at CarbaTec.

I don't wish to hijack the thread, but what is Wongo doing in the picture? The picture is so small that us old blokes can't quite make it out.

Any more info on this model, I assume it is not made in Europe but outsourced to China, is it the same as any other machines? I am still looking and it seems there are a few that have recently popped up such as this and the Woodfast that I have still not had the chance to look at.
