Scheppach vs woodfast
G'day.
Sorry to dredge up an old issue (and I have looked at the posts from nov 2009).
I am considering a combo thicknesser/ jointer and have seen the Scheppach 2600 and the Woodfast 300mm.
They seem similar in build quality (I know that if I paid a motza I could have something nicer)
The Woodfast is
1. Bigger
2.Has 3 knives
and
3.Able to be collected by car (in Launceston)
The Scheppach is
1. Cheaper
2. Better reviewed on this forum (anyone actually got the woodfast?)
3. has rubber rollers (I am not sure how much this matters)
Can anyone give me some advice?

I don't have a Woodfast thicknesser, my opinion is 3 knives is better, I do not like rubber rollers and would not choose purely on that respect, I have other Woodfast machinery both old and new and find them very hard to fault
