I think the T120 was the original and later models had a letter added like the T120 C, so what your mate Dave bought will be an original T120

I have no idea about cutter blocks for spindle moulders and really have looked at heaps of YouTubes…as you do to get ideas. One brand that comes up quite well is an English brand called Whitehill. And funnily enough i spoke to someone not that long ago that has used the same brand. I’m pretty sure i want to stay with steel cutter blocks so it kind of rules out CMT. The general purpose one i was looking at the is the 125mm Dia Combi head. I thought about also ordering one of the copy rings for the 125mm Dia as well. Anyone who has used these cutter heads?

Whitehill have been around since the 1930's and are very well respected in the UK, I have owned a lot of their tooling in the past and they are very good.

I bought a Spindle moulder that came with quite a bit of Guhdo tooling which is also very good.

The machine came with a power feed as well and generally it seems ok. I don’t have any heads for this machine really and the last time i even assisted with a moulder was about 40 years ago. So am i scared of this machine….you bet!
I purchased scm t120c last year and am having trouble raising and lowering the shaft ...in fact it seems to be completely seized up what should I do to fix it luckily it is set at the right hight for my cutters ( t& g)
