Space saving with drum sander on top of thicky
This is for Stuart Lees - I don't seem to be able to send a PM (puter just thinks for ever)
Hi Stuart
Many thanks for all your vids and information. In the dust control vid I see that you have stacked the drum sander on top of the 15" thicky (I presume you placed a board on the return rollers).
However, the CT catalogue says that the motor of the thicky is in the lower cabinet, and your setup appears to have no lower cabinet (resulting in the drum sander being a normal height off the floor) or is this an optical illusion and you still have the lower cabinet there with the drum sander up quite high (which I guess would still be workable).
I'm very interested in this excellent space saving idea.
Regards, Brett
