Peter,
clean and photograph the motor's label and post it here. WHile you are at it, open its terminal box (junction box) and take a photo of the connectors - AND of the inside of the lid! (Many lods have the wiring diagram fixed to the inside....
Some larger (and some smaller) motors are wired for 415V DELTA - and may be too expensive to rewind for 240V delta. If yours is 415V STAR (or Y), it's generally straightforward to change to 240V delta.
We may be able to advise you just from the photo.Cheers,
