    Default thicknesser stand

Have just purchased a Hafco T330 Thicknesser which is supplied with a stand, Once assembled the stand is a bit flimsy for my liking (pressed steel), I intend to use some Ply bracing to make it more rigid. I also want to put it on castors for movement around the shed. My concern is that the machine sitting on the stand is very top heavy and I fear if not handled delicately it could topple. Has anyone had previous experience with this machine or similar with ideas on satbilising the set up? Would appreciate any advice.

I've got my "thinnesser" mounted on slides under a bench........so that when its needed I pull it out...flip it up to its working position........and use it that way.
I spent 4 years or so with it on a stand that took up valuable floor space all the time....if it was being used or not.
