Timbecon 8 inch Cabinet Parallelogram Spiral head Jointer SWJSC-200-PG
Hi everyone
I was wondering if anyone has purchased the above jointer. I am thinking of buying one but would like to know if setting it up is difficult in regards to aligning the infeed and outfeed tables.
Thanks in advance

No, but I wish you luck in getting it.
"Sorry, out of stock in Melbourne and Perth" "Order Now For Shipment or Pick Up 15th January".
No certainty these days.

Also doing due diligence on Timbecon 8" parallelogram jointer. Timbecon replied it is true helical but are tardy regarding whether they have eccentric adjusters to fine tune the tables. First reply was that they are adjusted at the factory. Mmmmm. Anyway, will see what they come back with this time. Any feedback from owners of this machine would be greatly appreciated. Shane.

Hi Shane, I would be very interested in what they come back to you with. I do not wish to get into a situation where I purchase it and they ship it up here to central qld and I find the tables are out of alignment. I wish they had a service where there Technician could unbox, check and adjust alignment of tables so it is virtually guaranteed before shipping. Yes the Spiral cutter head looks great with 6 spirals and 52 cutters. I compared the weight of it to Carbatec 8 inch jointer thinking the Timbecon one would have more Heft but they are the same total weight with cabinets. Graeme

If it's a parallelogram jointer, it'll have eccentric cams for aligning the tables. I got the parallelogram style as opposed to the dovetail ways as these are pretty easy to setup and align the tables on - as long as you have a good straight edge that is long enough. This video is for Grizzly, but really any of the Chinese/Taiwanese makes of these machines will be the same (Carbatec, Timbecon, Rikon, etc.) Parallelogram Jointer Setup: How to Align the Tables - YouTube
Key point to remember that may not be mentioned depending on how bad the documentation of the machine is - there are TWO grub screws above every eccentric cam and you need to remove one and loosen the other before giving the cams the ole tappy tap tap.

Alkahestic Thank you for that video on how to set up the tables. I have certainly got a better insight of how to do it now.
