    Default New toy for Christmas

Well after plenty of waiting my new A3-31 should be here tomorrow
hopefully the man steering the truck from Sydney to here looks after my new toy and it turns up in one piece
just have to get it into the shed and away we will be able to go
Will let you know how she goes

What the devil is an A3-31speak English man not numbers.

A Hammer planer/thicknesser Phil. And a very nice one. Just watched the video.
I think Stewy is out the shed playing.
Those were the droids I was looking for.

Now I understand very nice piece of kit.

For the life of me I cannot understand the obsession to describe every machine by it's model number.

A shinney new Hammer A3-31 with silent power cutter head
Sorry Phil normally would have put the brand in but must have been just a bit to excited
Funny how you put your location in like you do and think model numbers are a bit over the top
Anyhow Im of to play with my new toy

Well managed to get the machine unpacked and setup yesterday
had to get a couple of electrical fittings today and hooked them up.
fired it up this afternoon took it easy on it for a start some really hard old Redgum that has been sitting in the weather for ages
well all,I can say is wow can this puppy cut
this same material my son had at work on a big 3 phase machine with the standard hss blades an he recons that he nearly has to stand on it to get it through.
it is quiet, cut like a hot knife through butter on hard as nails Redgum with no tear out that I can see in my quick demo to myself ( got to go to Xmas party)
Looking forward to giving it a big work out over the weekend, I think number 1 son is pretty impressed as well
