wiring diagram dw1253
Hi,
I'm looking for a wiring diagram for a DW1253.
It's a 400V machine.
From the connectionblock (L1, L2, L3, N en PE) to the relais (a;b 13;14 23;24 33;34 43;44)
to the machine (withe, black, brown, red, blue and purple)
if someone has such a machine and wil give a peek in the box on the back (or make a picture) thanks.
regards,
Eric

I can't really give you a definitive answer, but I'll have a go.
3 phase wiring conventionally goes Red, White and Blue to L1, L2 &L3 respectively.
Black is NEUTRAL, always.
This leaves brown & purple, which I'd suggest are switch wires, although I'm actually surprised that there isn't an Earth (yellow & green).
The relays would be for "zero voltage" switching to prevent accidental startup, and would correspond to the numbering of the phases.Sycophant to nobody!

Thanks,
the machine is in fact an Elu RAS 1253a1.
When I measure the resistance between the wires, I think there is a coil between the brown and blue, blue and purple and purple and brown (each 10 Ohm).
White goes tot the switch, red is the other side of the switch, PE (Earth) is the Yellow/Green wire.
In our country (the Netherlands) Blue is (always) the Neutral.......
It could be that Yellow/Green from the connectionblock goes to black into to machine.
The relay is to switch the machine on (with the green button) and to switch off (with the red button).
So I think I will give it a try to connect the blue, brown and purple to L1, L2 and L3, Yellow/Green to black.
In the worst case the coil will burn out.

Best of luck Urric. I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help, as my RAS is a (single phase) DW1251.
Before you do your connections, you could perhaps do a Google search for wiring diagrams for DeWalt RAS. They are the same models, just with a different brand name, and may even still be made. You might find what you're looking for on the dewalt.co.uk website.Sycophant to nobody!

I've searched a lot, couldn't find anything. I got from DeWalt a wiring-diagram of a simular machine, but that is a 3 phase 'star' and I think my machine is a 'triangle'.
When I measure the wiring from the given diagram, it makes no sense.
A star configuration is with the neutral (3x 230V) and a triangle is without neutral (400V)
Normaly a 3 phase motor comes with 6 connections, so you can make a star, or a triangle configuration yourself. I think these electromotor is internaly already connected.
