15 inch sander
I am thinking of getting a large sander... which type is the most popular... do they leave any snipe..do they remove just a smigion or is it for rough cuts.

They only take a smigion.
Though if you started with a very coarse grit you could take maybe a mm off in a pass.
Normally no snipe at all.
I have a 16/40 Timbecon one which is the same as the carbatec one.
