Default Where to get a 240V motor switch with paddle?

Hello, can anyone please suggest where I might find any 240V 10A switches available for starting / stopping a 1.5hp motor, fitted with a paddle, as per attached images? I would prefer it to be a no-volt relay operation so that the motor will not re-start after momentary loss of mains supply.

Thanks for this Fred, but was hoping to get one locally, and a bit cheaper. After you add postage and exchange rate, it becomes a bit too expensive

Last time I checked with Hare and Forbes they wanted $38 for a standard on/off switch without a paddle so I don't think that is a bad price.

I use a Timbecon Torquata switch on my router table and that is $58 +postage

Thanks Fred, your comparison price convinced me.

I ended up ordering two of these 240V switches from your eBay link above, and for an extra $10 total got two small enclosures to allow me to surface mount the switches. Worked out at $AU 48.00 each for these magnetic no-volt switches rated at 20A, including enclosure. None available anywhere in Australia that I could find. Delivery early April.

It was 12.30am over there in Middletown, Connecticut USA and they were still working, quick and knowledgeable response to all my queries.

Yes, it is always a pleasure to deal with our American cousins, I have never experienced the hassles that one can experience locally.

Good to hear you got it sorted.

I actually added another country to my "import" list, Turkey!

Installing a diesel heater in my 5th wheeler and needed some ducting and vents, none available from any of the Oz importers, finished up ordering them from a guy in Turkey who specialises in this stuff. Ordered on 3/3, order confirmation and shipped on 4/3, it arrived today, total cost including postage just a bit over 1/2 what it would have cost here in Oz!

I emailed all the electrical retailers and suppliers in Australia who supply switches and contactors etc., today, and never got one reply.

Three technical questions to the US guy on eBay and the order was placed and paid for, and he tells me they go out at midday tomorrow ( US time). They apparently work into the wee small hours until all orders are processed so that the storemen get them all first thing in the morning, and all orders are packed and sent in the midday mail that day. WOW!! How is that for being customer focussed !

The switches arrived from the US 14 days after I placed the order. They are quite substantial, use bare wire or crimp lug connectors as the terminals all use screws. I purchased a couple of little boxes to mount them for an additional $5 each total, but find that the switches can be easily fitted into the base cabinet of my jointer if I cut a small rectangular hole and use the supplied screws to fix it in position , making the paddle project off the surface by only 35mm max.

All up, the two switches and two boxes came to $US 71, say $94, making it $47 for each switch and enclosure box.

Many thanks to Big Shed for the price comparison which convinced me to go down this path

Postage is a big problem with buying from the US, you always have to do your homework. One supplier I deal with charges postage according to the value of the products you have ordered. It's about US$90 for orders up to US$275 in value, order $1 more of product and the postage jumps to US$160 Ouch!

This is actually a very good price considering I paid $59 per Triton switch and I reckon these would be better.
