    Default Adjusting Hitachi C8F8 Slide compound saw

    Hi,

    I bought this saw second hand and it is slightly out on the main axis can't cut right angles with it. I had a look but there seems no way of calibrating the saw. Anyone know about this saw?

    I had a fairly new Metabo 216mm quite similar to the hitachi

    I adjusted the fence to make it square as per instructions, yours could be the same

    my aeg is completely different with adjustment on the turntable itself

    I find its worth checking it for square often until you are satisfied it doesnt vary as some these beasts do
