Air compressors
My a/c has just stopped co-operating. Motor runs - tank gauge doesn't register any increase in pressure.
Probably have to buy a newie.
Looking for for and against comments re brands/types etc.
A mate has just lent me his Bunnings "vertical" TradeAir whilst he is o/s.
Looks like $200 is the market average.
Any tips welcome, thanksHave a good one

does tank get any pressure in it? Gauges can stop working, ports can block (not common but can happen) etc etc.
Maybe you just need a new head, possibly could get new head with decent displacement for close to cost of new complete unit with less displacement.
Might be worth checking around some compressor mobs for price of new head (make sure it comes with the flywheel, or pulley depends what you want to call it) and fittin git up to your existing unit, could end up with a better unit this way than buying a complete new one.
Also if you go down this path check your motor has the HP to run the replacement head properly.
