very small air compressors
I have just lost (its given up) my very cheap $15 12VDC air pump which I used on two bikes, a hand truck & wheelbarrow - all of which seem to need constant top-up with air.
It lasted 3 years & it was very small (no storage problems in an already full garage & shed) so I can't complain.
I do not want one of the many (larger) $100 to $200 SuperCheap/Bunnings style units; they are just too big; although I accept they represent very good value.
So can anyone recommend a suitable unit.
It does not need to fill car tyres, it must be capable say of inflating 4 bike tyres & I'd prefer it was 240VAC rather than 12 VDC.
Suggestions please?
Thanks,
Peter O

The small continous flow (ie no receiver) units that come in 240V form are the ~1/6hp units made for air brushes. Might be suitable for you, but max pressure is in the mid 50's psi range.
Depending on what you mean by "bike" that may be too low.
Aside from that, if you accept 12V, there are plenty of units available to do what you want that will probably last longer than 3 years - hit the 4wd websites/shops.
For your kind of use, personally i'd go for one of these:
Best of luck finding something suitable.
