ALDI HS100S saw table mechanism problem
Hi all. I'm new to the forum. I'm 60 years old and renovated several timber houses in Queensland when I was younger. I bought an ADLDI HS100S saw a while ago, but have a possible with the mechanism. The elevator isn't winding because the cogs have slipped and aren't matching. I'm hoping someone cleverer than me can help me figure out if I can fix it. I managed to get a few photos: ALDI HS100S mechanism photos - Google Photos. Note there are comments on the three photos to aid context.

Unless I'm mistaken looking at it on the phone the vertical cog has simply slipped down.
Looks like you can move it back up the shaft so it engages properley, and then tighten the grub screw to hold it in place.
Cheers, Ian

Looks like there’s a nut missing on the vertical shaft which has allowed it to drop down and disengage the meshing of the teeth.looks like a simple fix.
