Transport small thicknesser and dust extractor - Vic to QLD?
Hi guys,
I have a couple of machines that I need to send up from Victoria to SEQ. They are packed up on a pallet just over half size, height approx. 1000, weight approx. 100kg. It is currently in Drouin (1.5hr outside of Melbourne) but I might be able to get it to Melbourne Eastern/Northern suburbs. I need it delivered to Yatala (about 40min south of Brisbane).
Anybody know someone who knows someone that might be able to move it for me? Any suggestions on freight companies? Both are single phase machines and it is not particularly heavy. I have access to a forklift at Brisbane end but maybe lift back truck would be best?
Any help would be very much appreciated.Cheers,
Shannon.

I used to use Land transport regularly to get goods from Qld to Melbourne. Their prices were always competitive. We also did use them from time to time to bring up machines we bought from firms in Vic.

You could give Aussiewide Economy Transport a go, they just got my Altendorf Panel saw up to Byron Bay from Melbourne for me, quick and nice people to deal with, cost me just over $1200 which was a lot cheaper than other quotes i got..

I just drove up to Brisbane with an empty trailer and could have easily called into Yatala on the way. Hope you find a solution.

As I drove over the bridge I thought of taking an exit to grab a pie, and as it happened I was back around there in the industrial estate looking with BIL for a marine upholstery place.

Ended up getting it moved with NQX $170 for up to 200kg. Took three days which I think is pretty good service.
Cheers,
Shannon.
