    Default carbatec 16" scroll saw

Hi I'm looking at purchasing the carbatec 16" scroll saw to do a special project, am looking to cutout a daisy shaped flower in 19mm hoop pine and am wondering if this machine is up to the task, perhaps there is someone out there that has one.
Thanks in advance for any help.

    Default The Saw.

    Hi Woodie72,
You have a couple of avenues to your Project.
If you have a Bandsaw, you could get a 1/8th. Blade, & that should do the trick.
Or you could find a Mens Shed, & they may help you as well.
I'm thinking it might be a bit hard on a S/Saw cutting 19mm. Wood.
    Regards,
    issatree.

I am not really into scroll sawing so I find it hard to help you with your problem. A lot of great folks from this site may help you: scrollsawer.com or scrollsawvillage.com.

    Woodie ,

There is a wood working club at Redcliffe near the show grounds , their contact details are on the net, .

19mm Pine should be no problem with the right blades, you could also use a Jig-saw, though the cut may be a little rough.

I have a Scroll saw the is under used , which you could try , .

I am in the Kallangur area.
