Chicago Air Compressors
I am doing some research into air compressors. I am looking at buying one for furniture building and the occasional spray finishing and dust cleaning. I came across this one. I am interested in features such as the aluminium tank, oil free compressor and it's claim to be silenced. Has anyone had any experience or know of this brand/model?
Other recommendations would also be welcome.
Many thanks.

It is effectively four small compressors on one tank. One oil less compressor is very noisy and four would be noisier by definition. I would want to hear it running first and then decide. Oil less compressors have not got the best reputation for either noise or longevity and are generally regarded as the cheap end of the market. The old adage of you get what you pay for could be an advantage here but I may well be wrong as I have no experience with this unit.

Hi Metester,
I am looking at buying one of these compressers. Did you end up buying one and if so what do you think of it?

No I didn't. I ended up going with this one and am very happy with it.
Cheers
