DeWalt Radial Arm Saw Reno
Our mens shed has just had an old De Walt radial arm saw donated and one of our members downloaded an article by Roger A. Hill about reconditioning. He recomends buying Wally Kunkel's(Mr Sawdust) book How to master the Radial Arm Saw. also a copy of the owners manual and a copy of Easy Ways to Expert Woodworking written by Robert Scharff. I wondered if anybody had a copy of any of these publications they might like to donate, lend or as a last resort sell so that we can take on this project. The saw is in working conditon but is looking a bit sad and seems to be missing the drop leaf table from the front. I and one of my fellow shedders are keen to restore this m/c back to its former glory and would appreciate any advice anyone can give.

Try manualsonline.com for a copy of the manual. Do not know if it is there but worth a look.

What model number saw is it.
Many of the Dewalt manuals are available from the Black and Decker service dept. website.
The Shed that I go to was given a saw a couple of years ago and I downloaded quite a few manuals for it and other saws.
If you have the model number I may be able to help.

Slipped into the shed today and found the model # and am a bit disapointed it is only a later model 7740 and not one of the older heavier duty ones but still keen to try and do a good reno on it

The 7740 is a good handyman saw, 2HP, cast iron arm and carrier. I have the manual covering setup and operation, parts list and accessory brochure scanned if you would like a copy.
