    Default Dewalt SCMS

Dewalt SCMS this has to be 10-15 years old but still does mostly what it is supposed to do.
However at one time I dropped it and stuffed up the alloy fence, what a load of codswhallop that thing is.

I now have a project and need a tall fence 180mm on the saw and around 2M long.
Oic shows roughly what I need , the way the fence is designed, I cannot remove it as its part of the body.

Ideas please, what to make it from, anyone already made an aux fence..

These pics show the stupid design of the saw, the thinner alloy parts of the fence have been recycled
