Default Doing research on new Table Saw's - Help!

    Hi All

The time is approaching for me to upgrade from my Jet 10 inch contractor saw to something a bit bigger, newer and with a bit of oomph!

My budget is limited but I am looking at spending the 2-3K mark.

    The contenders:

Jet - I have always been a fan of Jet, so the JET-JTAS10L Left Tilting Arbor Xacta Tablesaw is a contender - $2499 from Carbatec

Laguna from Gregory Machinery look interesting - they seem to have a good reputation in the USA - The Platinum 250 looks good and at approx $2000 it looks like good buying!

Gregory Machinery also do a WOODMAN MBS-300 TABLE SAW, this is a 12 inch bladed saw, it looks very heavy duty and comes in at around $3000

If anyone has any of these saws and or could give me any feedback or pointers I would appreciate you input!

If there are any other contenders that I have not mentioned then please let me know!

    Regards

    Bryan

Yes. Look at the Hammer saws. I have k3 comfort package. I looked at the others, including saw stop, for the same price with options I would have had a contractors style saw still. So naturally I went Hammer Time!!
