    Default Durden Pacemaker

I am interested in obtaining parts for Durden Pacemaker machine age approximately 40 years, (Painted Blue/green). Specifically I need height adjustment mechanism inside the machine, plastic knob on planer blade height adjustment, safety cover for saw blade below the work table.

I think you are going to be out of luck.

Durden may still be in business...not sure....but some years ago..apparantly there was a clear out of all of the old parts, because it simply was not viable to contunue to store them.

My wifes cousin had a pacemaker...hmmm yeh....while they are approcahing legindary status........not a particularly good machine by current standards in particular some of the safety issues.......not may people would entertain a saw bench these days that did not tilt.

things like knobs and the like may be obtained as generic parts or made from first principles....likewise many of the other parts....the manufacturing processes of the time where not particularly clever so pretty well any good machine shop or fabricator would be abl eto make the parts required.

    cheers

    Most powertools have sharp teeth.
    People are made of meat.
Abrasives can be just as dangerous as a blade.....and 10 times more painfull.
