    Default Drum Sander Lathe attachment

Who wants to make me one?

Why can't I get something that goes across lathe bed that I can clamp onto lathe or toggle clamp to bench. Threaded rods going up to second platter so I can turn up and down for thickness.
Rollers at end for a belt, nead to drive it somehow?
Then a 4 or 6 inch drum I can put on lathe to use as a drum sander.
Will need to pull lathe away from the wall to pass the wood thru but it should be possible shouldn't it.
I don't want the full 36 inch, 15 or 20 inch is plenty for me.
OK, Where's the design engineers, we need plans/Idea's.

Oops, should I have patented it first??
Maybe we can sell it to triton or carby's.

    Peter

    or this

Woodturning Online :: Lathe Mounted Drum Sander

    Pefect (amost).
How is the feed working on the vid?
The rest of its design I'm happy with.
Off to read the other one now.
