Nice work. Like you I've had trouble with a Tormek and other accessories "walk" around when using a grinder. I tried to make a sharpening bench but as others have commented it's hard to get each method at the right height. As I've got to rearrange my workshop I think it;s time for a rethink, perhaps a stepped bench, or possibly a low bench with each grinder/jig complex on an optimally sized platform, with the others stored on a shelf. There never seems to be enough room around the grinders for work space. I'll keep looking and thinking

Hi Issatree, sorry it has taken so long to answer ... but until yesterday I didn't have an answer! I found these at McJings in Sydney down the back of the shop for $2 each. They are the same height as the conveyor balls so, after clear finishing, I'll reassemble it first with these. I would have preferred more rubbery and fixed but these are worth a try. I will report back.
