Picked this unit up secondhand years ago and it has served me well.

Had to have the switch looked at by the switch doctor from down the back and that is now working perfectly.

Put a new belt on last week, fired her up and the belt skidded straight out to the right thereby buggering about 25mm
of that edge.

I simply could not get the alignment right so I pulled the top wheel off. This assembly has the alignment adjustment and the tensioning
spring in it. The alignment adjuster was slightly bent and had probably been that way since I bought it. I noticed also that the inner end
of the adjuster that pushes against a right angled piece inside the wheel had a seriously conical end and had slipped in between that
right angled piece and the inside of the wheel. I had a bugger of a time getting the thing wound out of the housing and then a worse time
getting what was, in effect a long stud, out of the Knob. Turned out someone had screwed a 10mm bolt into a 3/8 thread hole and cut the
end off that pushed against the right angled piece.

75mm SS 3/8 bolt on which I rounded the corners fixed the problem!!

Thing - Shaun - gave me a hand again today to sort out a minor problem. Had to grind a flat on the wheel shaft so that when the Allen key
screw was done up it didn't slip around the shaft. Problem solved.

Very satisfying to fix something and see it work perfectly!!!
