Managed to find cheap quality timber so currently looking around for a Jointer & Thicknesser
Was going to get a new 8 inch however just noticed this Timber jointer planner | Power Tools | Gumtree Australia Great Lakes Area - Smiths Lake | 1021619965

Not to mention it's 2" smaller also from the pics it's missing the blade guard when should be spring loaded and cover the blade as you past over it.

If you can afford it hang out for a 8" you won't regret it.

2" may not sound much but as they say in life it will make a whole world of difference.

    Cheers
