Henry Bros saws sells jointer blade in any length cut from stock, the last ones I purchased were 3mm thick x 35mm wide. There is a choice of HSS, 18% tungsten and some others.

mcjing.com.au also have blanks but you will have to buy 8" worth of the 1/8"x1"x8", although I always seem to find uses for any excess I buy.
Still, @ only $18 it's a hard price to beat. I've made quite a few ww tools from their stuff and it seems to work fine.

Thanks Bob. Do you have any trouble with their site ? .... I get to the main page, and have downloaded the system requirements it tells of, but I can't get around the catalog still.

    Jake,

I have had problems in the past so I ordered direct via email and paid by direct deposit. However, I ordered something last night via the website and it worked OK. Their site is clumsy, like there are no close ups of things so you really need to know what you are after. I have always had good service from them including the very quick replacement of a keyless chuck in which one one the jaws broke.

    Cheers
    Bob

Ta Bob. I'll try again. Spose I can always just phone them too.
