    Default Jet JSG - 96 Benchtop Disc / Belt Sander purchase

    I would like to hear from those of you who have the above sander as i,m thinking of purchasing one.

    Not sure of this model, but recommend getting one with at least a 12" disc, esp if you are going to do boxes

    Thanks for the reply. I won't be doing boxes.

    Would love the model with the 12" Disc but it is nearly TWICE the price.

    LB you might pick up a second hand 12"unit for a good price.
    I have a Leda ( read Hare and Forbes ) and it has plenty of grunt.

    This particular machine has not changed in design since it was first
    marketed, so the design is obviously very good.

    Check out The Hare and Forbes website. The cost new may surprise you.

    I've got one. Seems to work ok. Makes dust like some kind of nuclear warhead. Dust extraction is rubbish (like every other linisher on the planet). Seems smooth and powerful. No complaints here.
