I read of this pact.
However, I feel it has led to some boring looking gear. A workshop with festool, jet or laguna looks great.
If ones workshop were comprehensively styled, it would make it beautiful and shows the care that goes into a product. Like a Ferrari F1 workshop.....sexy!

Tony seems the photos didn't load of the WiP pulling the bearing out.
I like your table is that solid plate??
Paint well you have 3 to do lighter colours allow better sight of work I believe.
F1 Red you already have a car that colour ...........or BRG, bright yellow or how about same as a Violet Crumble packet.

That's probably what they will all end up being Pat. I'd have to buy all those different colours and there is a limit to how much I can spend
Still like the idea of a bit of pinstriping though. And some scroll work. Those were the droids I was looking for.

Tony
Blue's good 'cos blue was what I had .
Copy of lathe in action 002.jpg
But some pin-striping would have been really cool .

Tony
The previous picture of a Tough lathe (very similar to the Woodfast) belongs to my son, but I do have a cheapie from Carbatec, which was a cast off from my son. It spent many years out in the weather and I have just refurbished it. I had planned to put up a thread, but have not done it yet.
Guess what? I had some blue paint left over .
