Lightburn concrete mixer drive pinion.
Hope I'm in the right area of Woodwork Forums, as I'm a newby to this. I have an old lightburn concrete mixer that is in need of a new drive pinion. After contacting a few of my local hardware outlets, I was told Lightburn was bought out by a company called Westmix. I'm told they no longer have any spares for the mixer that I have and was wondering if any one might know of where I can get hold of a new or 2nd-hand-in-good-condition drive pinion to suit. The pinion I need is a 10 tooth bevel gear (roughly 1/2" pitch teeth) with 5/8 " dia bore. Overall length 1 1/2" and tooth length is about 15/16"
The other alternative would be if someone knows of some other brand of mixer that has a similar drive pinion that I could possibly adapt. Not too keen on coughing up for a new mixer, as all the other parts are in fairly good nick. Hope someone can help.

Thanks a heap for the quick response. The money has been transferred to your account. Hope you have some luck with the motor parts you're chasing.

Might be an idea to put a request for someone to make you one on the Metalwork Forum.
