Makita Electric Blade Grinder Sharpener 9820 9820-1
HI has anyone tried importing one of the Makita automated water stones. I know there are many brands around but I like the Makita for various reasons. If you are using one of these machines imported from Japan or the USA what did you do about the voltage change...ie 110Volts to 240 Volts. can you tell me what brand of transformer you used?? If you want to have a look at some really nice machines look at the Naniwa brand...very expensive though..

I'm not an electrician and I don't play one on TV, but...
For 1.1 amps, you could probably pick the cheapest transformer you can find.
