McMillan compressors - Is a Fu Sheng worth it ?
Hi Guys,
Looking at air compressors and think I have narrowed it down to either a McMillan C16 or MC15 (Electric 240 Volt - McMillan Air Compressors)
The prices are close enough for it not to be a deciding factor.
The MC15 has 294 LPM FAD, whilst the C16 has 328 LPM FAD.
Both have cast iron pumps, but the MC15 has a Fu Sheng "industrial" series pump.
So I guess what I am weighing up is whether the (assumed) better quality pump is worth loosing some air volume.
Anyone have any experience with either of these compressor series, or views one way or the other.
Thanks

G'day mcwoody and welcome to the forums.
Have you looked at / considered the compressors from Trade Tools.
No association other than a customer but I have found their gear to be really good for the price.

A 5 yr warranty on the MC15 vs a 3yr on the C16. I'd probably go for the MC15. It's not a huge drop in LPM.
Those were the droids I was looking for.
