Default Recommended blade for Makita LS1040 saw

Hello, I need to replace the blade on my son's Makita LS1040 that I have been using for a while
The existing blade that came originally with the saw is quite thin, with few teeth, and made of 1.74mm plate with a 2.4mm kerf that deflects relatively easy in the cut.
Does anyone know the maximum blade thickness this saw will accept?
Any suggestions on a make of blade with 80 teeth that gives a bit more strength? It has ATB teeth with a 5 degree hook and a 25.4mm arbor /spindle
    regards,

    Dengy

A thicker blade will add extra load on the motor, so be a little cautious

Any standard width (2.2 plate, 3.2 kerf) table saw blade will be perfectly fine; if you hear it struggle, just don't push as hard

Yes, good point - thanks dinosour. I think elanjacobs warns about the blade possibly struggling too
