Default roadside air compressor - need help with fixing

Hi All, I picked up an air compessor from the road side and I would like to repair it. Someone has disconnected wires to the coils, so I guess thats the place to start but I dont have any experience with compressors, i'm not sure how to reconnect them. Any advice would be welcome

    Cheers, Gerry

Even if someone knows what they are doing advice across on connection is too difficult and risky to provide across the internet.
There has to be a reason that the compressor was left in that state ie was not in a working state and maybe someone tried to fix it or deliberately left it in that state so no one would just plug it in - they should also cut the cord off if it's dangerous.
Before connecting up anything the first things needed are a check on motor coil continuity and and insulation resistance test, failure to check this could result in serious injury or death
These test, and provided they passed, connecting up, are for someone that knows what they are doing.

If you don't know what you're doing, don't risk it. A trip to the hospital is a lot more expensive than hiring an electrician.
