Default Problem with Sherwood under /over planer thicknesser

Hi There , my problem is no doubt the result of my thoughtless fix attempt but it never hurts to test the forum for a solution, Ive had this unit for 10 years or so, only done light work and mainly small timbers for boxmaking ,which has rekindled my interest so the machine was pressed in service again. During an attempted sale some time ago it was pointed out that the infeed outfeed rollers were reversed with the spiked roller on the outfeed which left light teeth marks on the thicknessed timber, requiring sanding or handplaning so the buyer wasnt interested. in one of my less lucid moments i removed the covers, decided i would be foolish to dismantle the machine any further , but took a file the the spiked outfeed roller and lightly filed the bite from the offending teeth, yes you guessed it now the board will not pass through the thickesser ,even with assistance, rendering it useless, the planer function is unaffected. I spun a couple of turns of duct tape over the roller in an atempt to make up the lost thickness with no success. After ten years and my fiddling im sure timbercom, Perth who sold me machine wouldnt be much help. Any suggestions mates ? thanks Rossco
