    Default Table sander

Any one out there made there own table sander similar to the sand flee
    Sander.
    Just after some thoughts ideas.
I'm thinking about this as I maybe making some place mats a small batch run and a sander like that would be fantastis.
    Table material ? Velcro roller?
    Motor size ? Extra.
I do have a metal lathe and am fairly confident round metal sheet metal.

Have a look at the Stumpy Nubs site Simplicity. Drum Sander He has a similar sander shown on a dvd and sells the plans for around $10. Might be what your looking for.

I made this a couple of years ago. https://www.woodworkforums.com/f11/ho...roject-148049/

I was happy with it for a short while but really it was too slow. Then I bought a Carbatec drum sander and never looked back.

I might ressurect it for rounding over arises or something.

    Cheers
