Still getting myself familiar with it.
Makes me want to upgrade the spindle moulder now...SCM L'Invincibile si X, SCM L'Invincibile S7, SCM TI 145EP, SCM Sandya Win 630, Masterwood OMB1V, Meber 600, Delta RJ42, Nederman S750, Chicago Pneumatics CPRS10500, Ceccato CDX12

Nice. The variable speed looks good. Mine only has gears and two speed motor.

I don't really need variable speed for now but I hate to buy a machine twice and geared PF is only a few hundy less so went a head with the variable speed.

Variable speed just sounds like one more electronic gadget to fail... I would stick to old school myself, there's very little that can go wrong with a 2 speed motor and gears.

yes, that is a risk of that. Comatic has been around for 30-40 years, this mode is not the first 20 or 100 they made, it has been around 4 years and the variable speed itself has been around for awhile so...yeah.
another reason made me bought it is the ease of change from flat to vertical. take about 10 sec. one man can do this very easily.SCM L'Invincibile si X, SCM L'Invincibile S7, SCM TI 145EP, SCM Sandya Win 630, Masterwood OMB1V, Meber 600, Delta RJ42, Nederman S750, Chicago Pneumatics CPRS10500, Ceccato CDX12

Hi Albert, that is the power feeder I’m looking for. I would like to Swap it between a couple of machines that I have.
Can you tell me if your happy with it, and from the YouTube clips i have watched it can do pretty much any angle you can imagine.
The only down side I can see is the size of the thing...looks huge of YouTube.....great find I think.. does forward reverse and every possible position and even has variable speed which I think is just a bonus.
Variable speed power tools have been around for a very long time now and you don’t seem to read any drama with them. If thing have good torque at lower speeds great news

Hi Steven
I am yet to start using it fully, only made some trial cut with different cutters, this feeder is amazing, you can change between horizontal to vertical setting in under 30 seconds with no lifting required. the variable speed is easy to use as well.
This is my first feeder. its 21st century, get the variable speed..
but yes you are right. its not a small toy. it measures 600mm+ in length. you need a good size machine to use this feeder. its quite heavy, I dont know how you move it between machines without heavy lifting...SCM L'Invincibile si X, SCM L'Invincibile S7, SCM TI 145EP, SCM Sandya Win 630, Masterwood OMB1V, Meber 600, Delta RJ42, Nederman S750, Chicago Pneumatics CPRS10500, Ceccato CDX12

Thanks for the reply Albert, when I watched the YouTube clip it looked very big. But the ease at which it changed directions and speeds was really impressive. New spindle Moulder and power feeder...impressive!

yes the feeder itself is quite big, its a 4 wheeler unit so its hard to be small.
yes, new spindle moulder to match the new feeder lol
The spindle moulder itself is a very versatile machine, however for production where repeatability and accuracy id required you really have to get one of those programmable ones with automated fence/tilt/height, and they do cost a bit .. my new spindle moulder works out at about 32k Euro + freight + tax before negotiation.SCM L'Invincibile si X, SCM L'Invincibile S7, SCM TI 145EP, SCM Sandya Win 630, Masterwood OMB1V, Meber 600, Delta RJ42, Nederman S750, Chicago Pneumatics CPRS10500, Ceccato CDX12
