    Default I wish... :sigh:

The Melbourne WWS is almost upon us down here and it will be another year of drooling and an empty wallet

I'm satisfied that I have in my shed here all I need*... ( * except for lots more clamps, Berg chisels and other small stuff), but one thing I really want and I've dreamed and discussed this with the hairy bloke around the corner, who wants one too, but in my shed - so that means I have to buy it

Is a drum sander, ooh to have one but for a long time yet it is but a dream. http://www.carbatec.com.au/carba-tec...begjvvngnfs2o6 The C/tec is more realistic, but if the foldy stuff was on hand it would be a Trupro or better still a Powermatic from http://www.woodworkingwarehouse.com....118538%7C%7C16

So, what one piece of machinery do you lot not yet have, but given the chance would hitch the trailer up and race down to whatever joint, hand over the foldy stuff and buy?
I make things, I just take a long time.

A drum sander for me too but I only need a small one.

I will also swap my little JET 14 inch bandsaw to a bigger and more powerfull model.

I would have a drum sander too if I had the room.

I know you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I'm not sure you realize that what you just read is not what I meant.

A shellix head for my s50 thicky would be nice. Cant use it without one, just toooooooooooo damb noisy. Other than that, a 400 wide jointer would be nice.

A band saw is my wish now. But I have learnt that just when you get what you want you want something else. The jigsaw I just got off Silor will doo OK for a while. I'm not doing to badly for a woman without tools before April 2008. ( except for the odd screw driver and hammer and drill. Oh! And sicket set. )

I'd be happy with just one thing... Norm's shed, complete with accessories.

I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.

    A table saw.
Nothing fancy just a good solid table saw.

Well it's nearly decided . . . a new lathe, either the Woodfast M910 or the Teknatool Nova DVR XP . . . the Woodfast is leading, with the Vicmarcs being out of the budget.

All I'm gonna get is a micro detail turning gouge. I promise. In the tool department anyway.

I don't even have my thicknesser and jointer in my shed yet, but I would second t he Helix blades in both as my first choice, followed by a bobbin (aka spindle) sander so I don't stuff my drill press!
