cast iron weld
Hi all,
Here is what I got up to yesterday, oxy welding some cast iron. The 'plate' is about 12" square x 1" thick. Joint prep is a single 'U', filler rod 'super silicon' cast iron sticks.
Shall see how it turns out tomorrow when we uncover the ash mound used for post heat-treat (fingers crossed).
