CIGWELD MIG 200 Welder Or MAGMATE Pro 200
Hi,
Has anyone here got either one of these machines or been lucky enough to use one? If so, I would like to know what you think (or thought) of the machine(s) - it's advantages & disadvantages.
Any information would be much appreciated.
Cheers
MH

I haven't come across the mig mate pro before but the cig transmig is an ok machine
It is basically the the 195 tricked up a bit they have dropped the terrible gun and replaced it with a much nicer euro fitting. From memory it has quite a low duty cycle at 200A so for light work only but they don't claim anything else for it
The machine is old tek (read good) standard transformer type with a cheep but effective drive motor, click click transformer switching and the option of gas or gasless ,the control circuit board is new design so generic copies are not available that I know of, but I've not heard of any problems with them so most likely nothing to worry about there, At its normal price I think about $1000.00 maybe a little more its a good machine and I reckon a safe buy plus cigweld have reasonable after sales service if you do run into problems
