Comments on brands of gasless mig wire?
My local weld shop has a couple of brands of gasless mig wire. I'm only buying a small amount (0.9kg) to start off with but an interested in what people think of a couple of brands and what is better. I'll be going for a 0.8 or 0.9mm thickness of wire fyi.
The store stocks Boss, Liquid Arc, Unimig and Washington general brand of wires. Anyone have experience with any of these and can recommend them or warn me off any one particular brand?
Thanks
Montiee.

I have never used any of those brands. Are any of those brands manufacturers of the wire themselves? Otherwise you could just be getting any old cheap and nasty stuff in a box with a fancy name.
I can recommend Kiswel K-NGS gasless mig wire it is very good to use and is made by Kiswel in their own plant with in house reasearch and development facility and quality control.

Thanks..I'll keep that in mind for the future rolls I'll buy. I already picked up a roll of liquid arc yesterday though (made in the US so the sticker says) and I'll see how that goes.
