Completing a Welding Apprenticeship Part Time
Let me tell you a little about my situation.
I'm a uni student completing a bachelor of science hoping to then go on to a masters in engineering. I think that the experience I would gain would be beneficial for when/if I do become an engineer. I have a passion for both woodwork and metalwork and want to know if I can complete a welding apprenticeship part time (2 week days plus 2 weekends possibly) then move to full time whilst not at uni (about half the year) and back to part time again.
Also if that's possible then how long would it take for me to complete my trade and become qualified.

I do a fitter and turners course at NMIT part time.
It's only tue night, but I suspect you could do 2 classes per week if you want for welding. It's also on tue night and I think thu day.
Give them a call, but I'm not sure where one would be close to Bacchus.
The one I do is in Heidelberg. Jim and tony are the guys that run the course.
