Wouldn't know a dedicated TIG glove if it bit me - but if you had a photo, preferably before it fell apart, some of us may have seen a similar item for sale under a different name. E.G. - Pauls Hardware in Sydney sell 'riggers' gloves in XL size, where most places only stock up to a 'large', and the fingers in those are too short for me, so I buy a few pair at a time from Pauls.

Elliott seems to have the best range of welding clothing - can lodge a web site request to find local distributors so you can see the products in the flesh.

    Gday
One of the students at tafe just got a nasty shock using tig (ac/hf) because his riggers gloves were too short and his skin was exposed between the cuff and the glove which allowed the current to run through him to ground via his knee against the work bench(a bit of perspiration didnt help), the teacher has warned us off using these gloves, the teacher now has a mountain of paper work to submit about the incident
    thanks caveman

Head off to bunnings in the tools section near the welding rods. I saw those red gloves that are in the link on the shelf plus a number of others as well. I think they were going for $12 vs the $9 on the site but after postage and not being able to gauge the fit...

BOC gasses stock a welders glove with a kevlar insert. Expensive but good. I reckon they have the best level of feel of all the gloves I tried at the time. I've had a pair for a fair while now and they have been well used and abused and they are still holding up.
