Hi guys,
I hope I am in the right place!
I want to become an industrial welder; these days, those guys make a pretty good sum every month! I am just an amateur, haven't done any courses or sort in welding, and most of what I have learned is from the spare parts workshop I worked part-time. I want to specialize in MIG welding. Most of the jobs I looked for are asking for certifications in MIG and TIG welding.
So I looked up for various welding certifications and went through AWS, CWB websites. It seems I probably have to obtain certification in welding from a third party. After extensive research online, I found this welding school, which offers various certification courses in MIG welding. But I wonder which would help me the best to become an industrial welder. Could you guys help me pick a course that would help me in my future venture? Is there any industrial welder here? Will an AWS, or CWB certification along with my welding skills land me a good job? Any help appreciated!
Thanks!
