Need some help welding steel in Qld
G'day,
I'm in the process of building a tool cabinet. What I'd like to do is cut some rectangular steel tube and weld some steel plate to the bottom so it's like a cup. Then on the bottom of the cup, weld a castor. 4 of these will make up the feet of a tool chest I'm building.
My problem is I've been hard pressed to find a welder in Brisbane who'll take on such a small job! If anyone would like to help me out I'm very hapy to pay for your assistance.
Look forward to hearing from you,
Al.Cheers,
Al.

You can get casters with a square mount designed to fit into the square tube, this would be the easy solution unless you already have bought the casters.
Do you want the casters welded or do you want them removable/replaceable?
If you want it welded just message me your contact details.

A friend of mine has a small welding shop in Coorparoo. PM me and i will put you in touch with him. His core business is custom stainless, hence he is a great welder, but he is always looking for small fill in jobs.
