specialty welding ?
Hi i have an engine block from a tractor i am restoring and it has a crack in it i was wondering if anyone could repair this or put me onto a place that can.
BETTER TO HAVE TOOLS YOU DON'T NEED THAN TO NEED TOOLS YOU DON'T HAVE

Too bad i am not closer as i would fix it. Here is a fix i did a few years ago that was an extreme fix...Bob

I'd consider metal stitching first. I had a block welded up years ago simple job I was assured until he hit a porous bit of iron and a 5mm weld area stretched into a 50x30 mm
patch and the #### still leaks.
At least if metal stitching fails you should still be able to weld it. But stitching is an effective method and been used for years.
